Employer: CD9 PTY LTD trading as CD9 AUTO PAINT Location: Unit 2/16 Lensworth Street, Coopers Plains QLD 4108 Salary: AUD $80,000 $85,000 per annum + Superannuation Type: Permanent, Full-time With continued growth in business and increasing demand for high-quality automotive refinishing services, CD9 AUTO PAINT is seeking an experienced Vehicle Painter to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high- quality surface preparation, spray painting and finishing works in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications and workplace safety requirements. Staff Benefits: Stable full-time employment Supportive and experienced workshop team Ongoing skills development opportunities Modern equipment and well-equipped workshop Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking and priming prior to painting Mixing and matching paints to achieve accurate colour finishes in line with manufacturer specifications Applying primer, base coats and clear coats using spray painting equipment Repairing minor panel imperfections and ensuring smooth surface finishes Removing and refitting vehicle components where required to facilitate painting Conducting quality checks to ensure a high standard of workmanship and finish Maintaining spray booths, tools and equipment in a clean and safe condition Following workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and environmental regulations Coordinating with panel beaters and other workshop staff to ensure timely job completion About You: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong understanding of workplace safety practices Reliable, punctual and professional attitude Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience as a Vehicle Painter Experience in spray painting, colour matching and automotive refinishing processes Familiarity with modern spray equipment and painting techniques Relevant trade qualification is desirable but not required (Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent, three years’ relevant work experience may substitute) CD9 PTY LTD trading as CD9 AUTO PAINT would like to thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those shortlisted will be contacted.
