ALDOM TRANSPORT ENGINEERING PTY LTD 280 Cormack Road Wingfield SA 5013 Full Time Metal Fabricator ANNUAL BASE SALARY $77,064 PLUS SUPER DUTIES • Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements • Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock • Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines • Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering • Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments • Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting • Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision • Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions • Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding • Follow occupational health & safety at all times REQUIRED SKILLS Must hold trade certificate or qualification in welding or fabrication Have at least 2 years work experience as a metal fabricator and knowledge in the industry Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision How to apply: Applications open on 12 May 2026 and close on 11 June 2026.
