Employer: Gan Family Position: Home Child Care Provider (Full-Time) Location: Scarborough, ON Hourly Wage: CAD $22 per hour Work Hours: 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week Number of Vacancies: 1 Job Summary We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care for one-year-old child, in our home. The role focuses on supporting the child’s daily routines, safety, and early development under parental guidance. The caregiver will also help maintain a clean and safe environment related to the child’s care. Key Duties & Responsibilities You will support the child’s daily care needs, including: • Provide full-time care, ensuring safety, health, and overall well-being. • Feed the child, prepare age-appropriate meals and snacks. • Assist with bathing, dressing, diaper changing, and personal hygiene. • Plan and engage the child in age-appropriate activities and supervised play that support early development. • Establish and maintain daily routines for meals, naps, rest periods, and playtime. • Support the child’s emotional needs and guide behavior using methods requested by the parents. • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment related to child care, including light housekeeping such as laundering the child’s clothes, organizing toys, and cleaning feeding items. • Accompany the child on necessary outings or appointments and assist with transportation when required. • Keep simple records of the child’s daily activities, meals, sleep, and any health-related observations as requested. Employment Requirements: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience • Experience in child care or related field of education is an asset • Good overall health and ability to perform daily tasks. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • First Aid and CPR certification is required or must be obtained within a reasonable period after hiring.
