Farm Labour Supervisor/Assistant Grower Job Details: • Full Time • Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 5:00 pm • 24.00/hr • Co-ordinate, assign and supervise farm workers • Assist with growing and other crop related operations • Train farm workers • Ensure farm safety/food safety procedures are followed • Maintain quality control and production records • May perform general farm duties • Assist with and operate general farm equipment and maintenance of equipment and tools Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • College or diploma program or equivalent • 2 years experience in a greenhouse environment Physical Abilities: • Able to lift heavy material (up to 23 kg/50lbs) • Able to climb and stand on feet for extended period of time • Work in temperature controlled environment of approximately 25C • Must be able to bend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and /or legs Job Requirements: The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example. A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food/health & safety procedures.
