Job Details: • $19.00 Hourly • Full time, permanent • 6-days a week, steady day shift, possible extended hours depending on crops and priorities; which could include possible Sunday shifts as required. Job Responsibilities and Account abilities: • Assist in receiving and counting orders. • Assist in cleaning and maintaining irrigation systems • Assist in distributing bio’s. • Assist in the maintenance of the facility and farm infrastructure. • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. • Follow company policies as set out in the employee handbook. • Follow all health and food safety procedures • Follow the procedures to report any incidents at work. • Plant, fertilize, irrigate and harvest crops. • Report any quality or crop issues to Grower. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Basic farm knowledge. • Ability to communicate effectively. Physical Abilities: • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs. • Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23 kg / 50 lbs.) • Able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time. • Work in a changing temperature environment Job Requirements: The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example.
