Ever Clear Window Cleaning (business address: 210 347 Leon Ave., Kelowna, BC, V1Y 8C7, Canada) is seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician for our building maintenance team. It’s a full-time, permanent position, 30 - 40 hours/week (depending on season), with a wage is $37.00/h. 4% paid vacation. We offer Group benefits (health, dental, life insurance, Short/long term disability) available after 3 months probation period. Employment location: Kelowna, BC, with occasional travel to Calgary, AB, during the summer months. Start date: March 2026 Duties: • Perform rope access work to reach difficult areas without scaffold or work platform • Ascend, descend, and traverse ropes while suspended by a harness to carry out inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs • Remove snow and ice from rooftops, ledges, overhangs, and building facades using rope access techniques • Apply de-icing treatments to roofs and critical exterior areas to prevent ice buildup • Conduct high-angle cleaning, painting touch-ups, pressure washing, waterproofing, and caulking • Train workers to IRATA standards and support them in achieving Level 1 and Level 2 certification • Undertake rescues and respond to emergencies following legislation and safety requirements • Assemble and use console scaffolding and other height safety equipment when needed • Inspect and maintain rope access equipment and personal protective gear • Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors to ensure workflow and safety compliance • Follow all established safety procedures, including fall protection and WorkSafeBC regulations Requirements: • Must be comfortable and capable of working at heights in various weather conditions; • Must have completed high school or equivalent; • Must have at least two years of direct experience as a Rope Access Technician or experience working in heights and at least a Level 2 IRATA certificate; • Must be able to work under minimum supervision; • Must be able to work while suspended in a harness for extended periods of time; • Craftsmanship and manual dexterity is a must; • Must have attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination; • Must be able to speak English; • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, job task planning and organizing.
