Job Title: Tekla Structures Detailer / Project Manager
Location: Corona, CA (On-site)
Compensation: $60,000 $85,000 per year (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, objectives are met.
• Detailer Responsibilities: Serve as the lead Detailer by guiding modeling workflows, establishing modeling standards, and ensuring consistency. Proving General Arrangement and Assembly drawings.
• Meeting Detailing Milestones: Plan, track, and deliver all detailing milestones on time, proactively resolving issues that could impact schedule performance.
• Documentation & Revision Control: Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation; manage revisions, and document distribution.
• Departmental Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination with Customers, fabrication, and field teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
• Model Quality Control: Project models to be accurate, and in compliance with standards, and constructability.
• Scope Management & Controlling Changes: Define project boundaries and manage change orders meticulously to prevent scope creep, protect margins, and maintain project alignment.
• Technical Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve design conflicts, modeling challenges, and constructability issues.
Knowledge & Experience
• Proven expertise in Structural Steel Detailing.
• Project Management Experience.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures is essential.
• Ability to read and Interpret Architectural and Structural Building Plans
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in steel detailing is preferred though candidates with three (3) years of experience will also be considered.
• We would prefer a minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience, but we are willing to train the right candidates in this area.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Knowledge of AISC, AWS, and other building codes is required.
• Valid driving license.
A college degree is not a necessity for this position; we value practical experience and demonstrated skill.

Projects throughout California consisting of commercial, industrial, retail and miscellaneous, though we do specialize in tilt-up building and tenant improvement.
