General Manager Food & Beverage / Entertainment Venue Location: Manassas, Virginia Our client, a successful and expanding franchisee, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their high-volume food, beverage, and entertainment venue in the Manassas, VA area. This operation generates between $4M and $6M in annual revenue and requires a leader with an appropriate blend of restaurant operations knowledge and entertainment management experience, similar to concepts like Dave & Buster's or Bowlero. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of leading large teams and developing subordinate managers in a multifaceted environment. This position offers a realistic opportunity for career advancement as the ownership group continues to expand its portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Direct all venue operations, providing leadership and guidance to department managers across the kitchen, bar, and entertainment attractions. Oversee a team of up to 100 hourly employees and salaried managers, focusing on effective delegation, staff development, and performance management. Assume full ownership of the venue's Profit & Loss statement, driving revenue while managing labor, COGS, and inventory to achieve financial targets. Uphold exceptional standards for guest service, food quality, and facility safety and cleanliness. Ensure consistent compliance with all health, safety, and Virginia ABC regulations. Manage guest recovery situations with professionalism and efficiency. Develop local marketing initiatives and community partnerships to increase brand visibility and drive traffic. Qualifications: 5+ years of senior management experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting that includes a significant entertainment component. Demonstrated experience leading and developing subordinate managers and front-line teams of 75-100+ employees. Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing a P&L for an operation of comparable scale. Proficiency with restaurant POS, scheduling, and inventory management systems. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. ServSafe Manager and Virginia ABC Manager certifications are preferred.
