Paralegal Manager-NYC Law Firm
Salary range is $125-180K. Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days in office. Our national law firm client seeks a Manager of Paralegals with at least 8 years of corporate paralegal experience including work doing UCC filings to join its New York office. Prior supervisory experience is welcome but not required. This is an opportunity for a talented individual to develop supervisory skills and collaboratively enhance and improve this essential Firm function, while continuing to contribute as a functioning paralegal. This position is a department head equivalent position at the Firm and the successful candidate will participate in department head meetings and participate, with others, in the administration of the Firm.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, excellent oral and written communication skills, and an ability to lead a paralegal team and liaise with various supervising attorneys, including partners, in a deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate should expect to manage, develop, train, and oversee the utilization of the paralegal team as they work with various practice groups at the Firm and to liaise with human resources and finance professionals with respect to the paralegal group. The successful candidate should expect to show initiative in proposing how to run and expand the group in the most effective manner. The successful candidate should expect to spend a material portion of his or her time doing corporate finance paralegal work including UCC related work.
