Meade, MD Salary: $190,000- $230,000 per year (DOE) ️ Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph (NSA) Required Schedule: Full-time On-site About the Role Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join a mission-critical team at Fort Meade, MD. This role supports the development and enhancement of advanced software solutions for national security operations. Candidates will be responsible for reversing objective software/hardware, developing secure and high-performance applications, and integrating solutions into CI/CD environments. You'll play a key role in debugging low-level software, documenting ARM architecture, and delivering code written primarily in C++ and Objective-C for resource-restricted environments. Key Responsibilities Research, analyze, and reverse objective software and hardware systems Develop and release operational software aligned with mission goals Comply with established testing and release processes Document ARM architecture behavior and share findings with stakeholders Design and derive functional and quality requirements from operational needs Debug software/system issues at low levels Implement CI/CD processes using GitLab for builds and merges Author and review technical documentation Assist in the creation and execution of test plans Collaborate with engineers, customers, and stakeholders Qualifications & Requirements U.S. Citizenship Required ️ Active TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (NSA) Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years of additional SWE experience in lieu of degree) 14+ years of relevant experience in software engineering with similar scope and complexity Technical Skills: Proficient in C++, Objective-C, and ARM Assembly (Thumb, 32-bit, 64-bit) Experience in Python and reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards and protocols is a plus
