Key Qualifications 1+ year of experience in wastewater treatment or similar mechanical maintenance Valid driver’s license (clean record) Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Ability to obtain CMRT certification within 3 years of hire Preferred: Forklift operation experience Experience supporting municipal utility clients Strong safety awareness and work ethic Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water/wastewater systems Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, valves, motors, and machinery Lubricate equipment, replace bearings, and adjust regulators Install, align, and commission new equipment Maintain plant buildings and infrastructure (cleaning, painting, basic carpentry) Assist with plumbing and pipe fitting as needed Use welding equipment (gas/arc) to cut, braze, or weld Keep accurate maintenance records and logs Support plant safety procedures and respond to emergency repairs as needed Participate in on-call rotation after initial training
