MVP Recruitment is partnering with a highly respected, non-profit Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation center in the Greater Boston area to recruit a Director of Nursing. This is a unique opportunity to lead clinical operations within an intimate, mission-driven community known for its strong reputation, high-quality care, and consistent 5-star CMS rating. This well-established center features under 90 total beds, including a 60-bed long-term care unit and a 30-bed short-term rehabilitation program. The organization is recognized for its patient-centered approach, strong staff retention, and collaborative leadership team. The Opportunity The Director of Nursing will provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services, ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on clinical leader who values culture, quality, and team development within a close-knit environment. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all nursing operations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality resident care • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and frontline staff • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, survey readiness, and quality initiatives • Partner with Executive Leadership on staffing strategy, recruitment, and retention • Drive performance improvement and infection control initiatives • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, quality assurance, and leadership committees • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to support a positive community culture Qualifications • Active RN license in Massachusetts • 3+ years of nursing leadership experience within Skilled Nursing or Hospital setting • Prior Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience required • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, survey process, and clinical operations • Proven leadership ability with a focus on team development and retention • Experience with electronic health records (PointClickCare preferred) • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Why This Opportunity • Highly regarded, non-profit organization with a strong mission and values • Consistent 5-star CMS quality rating • Manageable facility size with a stable, supportive leadership team • Strong clinical reputation and positive survey history • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a resident-focused community This search is being conducted confidentially.
