Seeking a positive and reliable candidate for a Community Facilitator Position. Full Time Time or Part Time. Make a difference in your community and assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living. San Diego Community Living Services is a passionate and diverse team that aims to assist adults with disabilities to be able to live independently in their own homes by providing each participant with the highest level of support and assistance. We are a Teaching program; apply to help people learn essential life skills! As a direct support professional you will work one-on-one with participants, helping them with developing essential life skills in the following areas: - Independent Living Services (ILS) - Teach Daily Living Skills such as household cleaning, shopping, money management, and meal preparation. - Supported Living Services (SLS) - Assist clients with caregiving tasks (including assisting with bathing/showering, diaper changing, and more hands-on with individuals with ADLs. - Tailored Day Services (TDSO) - Assist participants with job searching, college education, transportation, and community access skills. Requirements: - High school or equivalent. - Must have experience working with individuals with disabilities. - CPR/First Aid Certification, we’ll help you obtain it! - Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel all over San Diego and surrounding locations.
