Overview
Divisional Safety Coordinator responsible for all aspects of division safety performance, reporting, and adherence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support TCOS initiatives within the division
- Ensure safety compliance with federal, state and local regulations
- Perform corporate, OSHA, health, and safety recordkeeping and reporting
- Coordinate, conduct, and track safety trainings
- Participate in new-hire orientation and training
- Prepare and distribute safety alerts
- Perform safety audits and communicate results
- Conduct reviews and support implementation of the Safety Calendar, SDI policies, and programs
- Develop JSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and risk assessments
- Investigate, review, and follow up on incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 2-yrs or more experience in a safety function
- Excellent computer skills preferably in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
- Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Highly effective communication skills
- Travel requirements – intercompany, education, & benchmarking
- First Aid/CPR/AED/Fall Protection Competent Person Certified
