Job Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret Electrical tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ), and cost breakdowns for Electrical works.

  • Prepare detailed tender pricing including material, labour, equipment, and installation cost breakdown.

  • Source, evaluate, and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing to achieve competitive project costing.

  • Prepare and submit tender proposals and supporting technical/commercial documents.

  • Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering exercises.

  • Prepare variation orders, progress claims, and subcontractor payment evaluations.

  • Review Letters of Award, subcontract terms, and project commercial requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with project/site teams on costing and project execution matters.

  • Monitor project costs and ensure budgets are maintained throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant Electrical QS / Tendering experience.

  • Candidates with Electrical subcontractor background are strongly preferred.

  • Able to perform detailed Electrical quantity take-off and cost breakdown independently.

  • Familiar with sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.

  • Experience in tender pricing, contract administration, and cost control.

  • Familiar with Electrical systems and installation works.

  • Able to read and interpret Electrical drawings and specifications.

  • Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tenders/projects.
