Job Responsibilities
Review and interpret Electrical tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BQ), and cost breakdowns for Electrical works.
Prepare detailed tender pricing including material, labour, equipment, and installation cost breakdown.
Source, evaluate, and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing to achieve competitive project costing.
Prepare and submit tender proposals and supporting technical/commercial documents.
Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering exercises.
Prepare variation orders, progress claims, and subcontractor payment evaluations.
Review Letters of Award, subcontract terms, and project commercial requirements.
Coordinate closely with project/site teams on costing and project execution matters.
Monitor project costs and ensure budgets are maintained throughout project execution.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years of relevant Electrical QS / Tendering experience.
Candidates with Electrical subcontractor background are strongly preferred.
Able to perform detailed Electrical quantity take-off and cost breakdown independently.
Familiar with sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
Experience in tender pricing, contract administration, and cost control.
Familiar with Electrical systems and installation works.
Able to read and interpret Electrical drawings and specifications.
Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tenders/projects.
