- 4+ years of backend engineering experience (Python, Node.js, or similar)
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI APIs in production
- Strong grasp of system design, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Comfort with rapid iteration and an AI-first development culture
- Bonus: experience with vector databases, RAG, or agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI)

- Design and build scalable backend systems and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Integrate and orchestrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into production workflows
- Build agentic and multi-step AI pipelines
- Own backend architecture decisions and performance optimization

We are MassAve Bridge, a US AI software company founded by two leaders who have spent their careers at the intersection of technology and business. Our founder is a Harvard MBA with 30+ years in consulting and technology, and he lives and works in Medellín. Our co-founder holds an MIT PhD in AI. We build proprietary AI products for US businesses and we are growing our Medellín team now. This is not a gig—we are building something for the long term, and the people who build it with us share in what we create. In this role, you’ll help design and deliver the backend systems and production workflows that power our AI products.
