Lead the creation, design, implementation, and evaluation of events both for the restaurant’s clients and that support the group’s business goals. Manage the restaurant’s special event planning and the associated efforts to ensure the continued popularity of the Sogno Hospitality brand. Supervise operations and manage and oversee staff during the preparation and execution of special events. Determine the purpose, message, or impression that the company’s clients wish to communicate through their special events. Oversee and manage event logistics and the details of the company’s clients’ special events, such as labor and materials. Manage, oversee, and develop the company’s special event operations, with an eye towards growth, change, new development, and increasing goodwill. Direct administrative details, including financial operations, dissemination of promotional materials, and responses to inquiries. Perform post-event financial evaluations to ensure the company’s continued profitable operations. Promote the company’s special event services by representing our company at professional and trade events and producing brochures and other publications. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Public Relations or closely related plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Public Relations Specialist, Assistant Manager or closely related position. Related one year of experience must be in the hospitality industry and must include experience performing event budgeting and financial analysis.
