The DDG 51 Support team at Leidos has an opening for a Jr. Systems Analyst to support PMS 400D and Superintendent of Shipbuilding Bath (SOSB) technical teams in shipboard verification of completed changes.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in Bath, Maine. Following the initial onboarding and training period, employees are eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Verify design and engineering changes implemented shipboard to ensure that the changes are accomplished
Interface with SSBA Quality department to illustrate incomplete changes prior to Navy acceptance of the compartment
Evaluate engineering and design changes for accuracy and hull/ship applicability
Reporting findings to PMS 400D and SOSB
Support SOSB in development of Trial Cards for incomplete or incorrect execution of change
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma and/or, 2 years of experience in ship design/building, configuration management, acquisition, operation, lifecycle sustainment
Basic understanding of ship design drawings
Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills are all required skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
U.S Citizenship required and ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
Able to walk ships during the construction period for 4-8 hours per day
Preferred Qualifications
Broad Knowledge of Ship Construction Process or Broad Knowledge of Trades

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
