Engineer to perform the following duties: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications using programming languages, frameworks including Django, and tools including Python, AWS, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and other relevant technologies. Participating in code and design reviews to continuously improve code quality and maintainability, optimizing software performance and scalability. Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues and providing timely support to end-users. Contributing to the development of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices using version control systems (Git), software linters and formatters. Using supervised and unsupervised learning models, classification and regression, and machine learning techniques including Deep Learning and NLP to process data and extract information from financial documents. Integrating software systems with cloud computing platforms, model-based and model-free methods, and databases to support scalable, reliable, and secure application workflows. Creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive technical documentation for software systems, APIs, and data pipelines to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability. Monitoring application and model performances in production, analyzing metrics, and iterating on solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and system reliability. Supporting deployment and release processes, including versioning, rollback strategies, and environment configuration across development, staging, and production. Education and Experience Requirements The position requires a Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Special Skills Requirements Experience in or academic exposure to: a) Use of supervised learning models, classification and regression, clustering methods, and dimensionality reduction. b) Algorithmic approaches for learning from data and performance evaluation methods. c) Generative AI and Large Language Models, Python programming language, and Django framework. d) Git, Database usage including PostgreSQL and SQLite. e) Machine learning techniques including Deep Learning and NLP. f) Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, model-based and model-free methods.
