Responsible for operating and supporting production environments, including systems and databases that underpin critical business operations. Maintain the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle Cloud Services, and help resolve complex infrastructure issues across test and production systems. This role includes handling customer incident tickets, deploying software, performing validation testing, and supporting system changes in controlled environments.
You will be expected to perform root cause analysis whenever possible. For issues that are highly complex or outside your expertise, you will escalate to the appropriate developers or engineering partners. This is a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Oracle products and services. You will also help uphold Oracle standards and best practices for large-scale distributed systems, and support service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning as needed.
