The Brand Business Lead will spearhead the successful launch and long-term strategic growth of new PPD innovative brand in the local market. This role requires a hybrid leader who can excel as a traditional Product Manager (PM), act as a Communication Manager to drive explosive digital virality, and serve as a Business Lead by designing comprehensive business plans in close collaboration with the ECOM & Retail Business Team.
# Main tasks
• Develop and execute an integrated communication strategy to establish a powerful digital presence of new hair brand
• Ideate and produce trend-driven, high-impact content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to spark organic virality and build a loyal brand community
• Partner with influencers, celebrities, and MCNs to amplify brand messaging and recruit new consumers
• Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance (KPIs) to optimize marketing spending and maximize ROI
• Design and implement the yearly marketing animation plan and product launch calendar, aligning new hair brand's global identity with local market needs
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including pricing strategy, promotional planning, visual merchandising, and localized messaging
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into the local hair care market and competitor landscape to maintain a differentiated positioning
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Global Brand Team to ensure brand consistency while advocating local market requirements
• Act as the Business Lead by partnering with the Sales team to architect holistic business plans across all distribution channels
• Collaborate with Sales to identify channel-specific growth drivers and provide the necessary brand tools and assets for effective channel communication
• Analyze sell-in/sell-out data and consumer insights to suggest actionable strategies for both Marketing and Sales teams
• Own the brand P&L and manage marketing budgets efficiently to ensure profitable growth and brand sustainability
# Requirements
• University graduate
• 5+ years of Marketing & Communication Experience
• Proven track record of creating digital 'buzz' and managing successful social-first communication campaigns
• Strong business acumen with ability to understand the full business value chain and collaborate with Sales
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data (GA, sales figures, social metrics) into proactive business solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent in English and Korean
