As a Litigation Support Specialist, you will assist legal counsel in warranty litigation matters, perform vehicle inspections, and evaluate cases on technical merit. About the role

  • A minimum of 5 years automotive experience required; BA degree or current ASE certification is preferred but previously certified individuals will be considered.
  • Highly motivated, critical thinker, adaptive, and autonomous with the ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally to dealerships.
  • Ability to analyze and document vehicle case updates using Microsoft Excel tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and create custom reports using provided templates. 
  • Ability to effectively use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a progressive workload in a fast-paced environment.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80k to $120k based on current experience.

Key missions

  • Participate in discussions, meetings and act as a subject matter expert in automotive technical evaluations.
  • Evaluate cases on technical merit, perform vehicle inspections to evaluate customer concerns, vehicles, and repair processes.
  • Report out on all evaluations and technical inspections, and support legal case compilation.
