Legal Operations Senior Analyst
As the Legal Operations Senior Analyst, you will move beyond tactical support to become a strategic architect of our legal processes and serve as an SME for enhanced due diligence. This role is designed for a deep-thinker who excels at "connecting the dots" between data and operational excellence. You will help lead our Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives and transform diligence findings into actionable business intelligence to support our team’s V2MOM goals.
Core Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance & Operational Integrity
Audit Design: Build and lead with our other Senior Analyst a formal QA framework to review legal work product (contracts, filings, and advice) for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal playbooks.
Root Cause Analysis: When discrepancies are found, perform "deep dives" to identify whether the issue is a training gap, a system error, or a process bottleneck.
Feedback Loops: Work with the broader legal team to implement "closing the loop" sessions, ensuring QA findings lead to actual process improvements.
2. Advanced Diligence & Strategic Research
High-Stakes Research: Lead complex research projects and deep-dive diligence for new jurisdictions, vendors, or regulatory shifts.
Risk Monitoring: Evolve our current monitoring from "tracking" to "predicting"—using your attention to detail to identify emerging trends before they become risks.
Day to Day Diligence: Continuing to support our day to day diligence but help with efforts for automations or offshore teams to manage initial analysis of diligence reviews
3. Data Strategy & V2MOM Execution
Metric Ownership: Own the "Measures" portion of our V2MOM.
Data Hygiene: Opportunity to work with internal teams to help identify opportunities to better streamline our data sources to help aid future automations
Process Optimization: Identify manual tasks in your current workflow and design automated or outsourced solutions to help the team scale.
The Ideal Profile
Experience: 4+ years in Legal Ops, Compliance, or a Research-intensive analyst role.
The "Deep Diver": You aren't satisfied with surface-level answers. You enjoy the hunt for the right data point.
Team Player & Independent Driver: You have a track record of taking "ad hoc" requests when they come up, but also seek the opportunity to turn those requests into a repeatable, documented process.
