Join Island, a fast-growing tech company, as a Supply Chain Engineer intern. You will work closely with the Product Performance team to secure and optimize the supply chain and production processes. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and negotiating costs, implementing new components into production, and monitoring quality performance. About the role

* Master’s degree student (M2) from an **Engineering School** 🎓 * A first successful experience (> 6 months in an internship or apprenticeship) working on **physical products** 🛠️ * Strong theoretical and practical foundation in **Purchasing, Sourcing, and Demand Planning**. Good command of Excel and GSuite/Notion tools. * Highly methodical, rigorous, proactive, and a great communicator. You are resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. * **Perfect fluency in French and Fluent English** (both written and spoken are mandatory for European sourcing) 🌍 *Work with Island is an equal opportunity employer. Key missions

  • Sourcing to Cost & Negotiation: Review, secure, and optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM) by finding alternative components, sourcing and qualifying new suppliers.
  • Production Implementation & Process Optimization: Manage the integration and implementation of new components directly into the production line, and participate in optimizing the overall supply process.
  • Quality Monitoring & Technical Compliance: Monitor supplier and factory quality performance, manage feedback loops, and update critical technical documentation.
