Join SBG Systems, a fast-growing company in the field of navigation and positioning solutions. As a Field Application Engineer, you will provide technical support to customers before and after sales, assist with product demonstrations, and participate in the testing of new solutions. You will work closely with various departments and travel regularly in Germany and Central Europe. Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

About the role

  • Education in electronics or embedded systems engineering, ideally with a knowledge of Navigation and Positioning as well as Autonomous Navigation (land, air, marine).

  • You have a solid experience of minimum 2 years in the similar position.

  • Proficiency in measurement analysis tools (desired Octave / Matlab), and eventually in positioning and navigation systems (GNSS, inertial, Imaging, Lidar, etc.). Strong proficiency in troubleshooting.

  • You can demonstrate fluency both in German and English, on both writing and oral (working language).

  • You are able to work in close collaboration with several departments of the company but also independently with international clients.

Fluency in German is mandatory. Any application that does not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Employement conditions :

Salary conditions: 42000 € - 50000€

Our head office is located in Carrières sur Seine (bus from Carrières sur Seine station - RER A).

You can come by car if you wish, as a large parking lot is at your disposal.

Key missions

  • Assister les clients dans la qualification et l'implémentation des produits, en fournissant un support avant et après-vente.
  • Préparer et réaliser des démonstrations de produits sur site et des tests clients, en gérant l'équipement de test et de support.
  • Rédiger et réviser des documents techniques, tester et examiner de nouveaux produits, et faire le lien entre les ventes, les clients et la R&D.
