Purpose of the role
As a Chef de Partie, your main responsibility will be to amaze people with outstanding cooking following chef’s recipes and directions. You work will be extremely important for customer satisfaction and building customer loyalty.
What do I do?
• Prepare food according to recipes, menus and cooking standards as trained in the hotel.
•To assist in the set up and organisation of the assigned workstation
•To ensure all dishes are prepared in an efficient and timely fashion and to the required 4* excellent standard
•Hygiene control – ensure all cleaning schedule and records are set and maintained
•Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
•Have a good knowledge of health & safety, hygiene, HACCP and any other legislation.
•Ensure products are rotated, and maintained in a safe and proper manner at all times
•Always dressed according to the Uniform guidelines for the Kitchen.
•Feel that you can always offer you own personal ideas to enhance offerings.
Skills required:
•At least 1 years’ experience working as a Chef
•Haccp / food safety training experience
•Allergens training
