Our engineering team is passionate about product quality and cares deeply about testing and user experience. While the team currently runs QA on their own, we want someone to take the reins and own Lever QA. The QA Lead position will be our first QA hire and will be responsible for improving and iterating on our practices and standards for quality assurance. As the company grows, we’ll potentially look to you to grow the team.
In this hands-on testing role, you’ll be responsible for the actual testing and writing of test plans needed to ensure high quality releases. You’ll also own the release process and be responsible for communicating release schedule and status to all key stakeholders. You’ll draw upon your leadership and project management skills to define the release process and ensure that the team executes on the plan. You’ll be the arbiter when a release is "ready to release" and ensure that all key stakeholders are in the loop.
You’ll continue to push testing towards automation, utilizing the best QA frameworks and working closely with Engineering to prioritize what tests should be built. We are still a young company and your project management, leadership and organizational skills will make a huge impact on the team and company’s ability to meet our customer needs.
