Liberty CE is currently seeking a Community Employment (CE) Supervisor to manage and support participants on our CE Scheme. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations, providing leadership and mentorship, and helping long-term unemployed individuals in recovery to progress into future employment and/or education.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of work experience and training programmes
Provide day-to-day supervision of staff on-site
Support staff in developing their skills, qualifications, and confidence
Monitor and report on staff progress to the Sponsoring Committee
Manage personnel, financial, and material resources in line with CE Scheme guidelines
Ensure compliance with health and safety, training standards, and DSP requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Energetic and proactive attitude, with a passion for supporting others
Experience in supervising staff and/or working with community programmes
A background in warehousing, operations, or training is desirable but not essential
Eligibility:
This position is funded through the Department of Social Protection’s CE Scheme. Eligible candidates must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
