Your area of work:

The purpose of the job is to lead the team providing connectivity SWIFT Support reporting to the Head of Sectionof Connectivity and CFS Applications Support.

The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support leads the team providing support to IT mission critical SWIFT middlewarerunning in the Clearstream environments. The candidate will ensure that maximum service level is provided tocustomers on a 24-hour basis. The supported SWIFT middleware is a key component for DBAG legal entities andprovides the connectivity between our external Customers and entities, as well as communication with theEuropean central bank. All incidents are highly visible and should be treated with utmost priority.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading the team providing support to SWIFT infrastructure within the Clearstream Services environment andensuring that service level agreements agreed with business operations are met on a daily and monthly basis.The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support should motivate the team to continue reaching those excellent KPIs,as well as being able to support like other team members.
• Delivery of the production services to a high standard: Meaning that the production environment is up andalways running, except during pre-defined housekeeping windows with no/minimal interruption and fast andefficient recovery procedures in place. Ensure the team respond to requests from Customers and other teamsin a timely manner.
• Integrating and maintaining SWIFT component: The SWIFT infrastructure is built on external software andhardware components. Those components should be maintained as per SWIFT and security requirements.The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support should take ownership of the environment and be aware of theconstraint and limit of the environment.
• Setting-up of daily work and support coverage so that procedures are in place to ensure support of the 24-hour processing on all production platforms to meet Customer requirements and deadlines and satisfyexpectations. The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support ensures that support of all on-line suites is donecorrectly daily without interruption and that problems affecting any aspect of IT production areas are reportedimmediately and responded to within pre-agreed procedures. He/she will, if necessary, liaise with internalCustomers and inform them of potential issues, impact on day-to-day work and solutions put in place.
• Ensure that project impacting the SWIFT supported flows are correctly assessed and planned. A regularcommunication with the project teams from the different entities must be ensured. The Expert ConnectivitySWIFT Support should understand project requirements and derive them onto tasks and planned work for theteam.
• The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support ensures that adequate escalation and communication is in place withthe IT and Business Duty managers in case of crisis or outage so that mitigating actions and contingencyprocedures can be initiated as early as possible if necessary.
• Respond to Audit request and ensure that no finding is raised against the team. When this cannot be avoided,ensure that findings are treated as soon as possible.
• The Expert Connectivity SWIFT Support takes ownership of the dedicated application and support theprocesses around it. He/she is able to maintain all security documentation and risk assessments attached tothe application and ensures deliverables are provided on time.

Your profile:

• University degree, BAC+2/3 in an IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
• Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriatesolutions.
• Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readilyfollow.
• Good understanding of the IT landscape, including Cloud environments
• Diligent with attention to details and correctness
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player, and able to work on own initiative.
• Good knowledge in LINUX and/or UNIX environments is required.
• Good knowledge of SWIFT infrastructure component is an asset
• Ability to work in a customer-facing role, service-oriented attitude, and attention to detail.
• Highly motivated, organized individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Dedication, team and communication skills, flexibility, proficiency in written and spoken English.
