Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Job description: At Wald Wire & Manufacturing Co., we are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and knows how to keep a team motivated, productive, and operating safely. As our Weekend Production Lead, you will oversee weekend production operations, support workflow efficiency, maintain quality standards, and help drive a positive shop culture. This role is ideal for someone with fabrication or welding experience who is ready to step into leadership or continue growing as a manufacturing leader. What You’ll Do Supervise and support weekend production employees Coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines Train team members on equipment, safety, and quality standards Conduct quality inspections and help reduce scrap/rework Troubleshoot production concerns and assist with process improvements Promote safe work practices and enforce PPE requirements Communicate staffing and performance concerns with leadership and HR What We’re Looking For Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or welding experience required especially with quality inspection Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing specifications Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with MIG/TIG welding and fabrication equipment is a plus Someone who leads by example and is willing to jump in when needed Why Join Wald Wire?
