We are seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator with strong experience in mechanical systems and HVAC coordination to join our team remotely. This role requires hands-on coordination on active construction projects, close collaboration with field and office teams, and leadership in technical meetings. The ideal candidate will combine advanced BIM tool proficiency with practical understanding of MEP systems, installation sequencing, and field constraints. Real coordination experience is essential; this is not solely modeling.
  • Lead HVAC and mechanical coordination for complex interior projects, ensuring constructability and timely conflict resolution.
  • Perform advanced 3D coordination in Navisworks, including clash detection and QA/QC review.
  • Develop and manage construction-focused models in Revit to support design, coordination, and as-built documentation.
  • Work with 3D scanning and point cloud data for accurate as-built modeling and verification.
  • Participate in live technical coordination meetings with U.S.-based field teams, communicating effectively in English.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of BIM standards and BIM Execution Plans across projects.
  • Demonstrate technical autonomy, strong engineering judgment, and proactive conflict avoidance to minimize field impact.

We operate with a distributed team across the United States, combining field presence with a robust remote collaboration model. The BIM/VDC Coordinator will join our technical team to drive model coordination, clash detection, and construction-focused BIM workflows for active projects managed by our New York–based construction team. This role emphasizes real-time coordination, standards development, and proactive problem solving to ensure field readiness and project success.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on BIM/VDC coordination experience in construction projects, with proven capability coordinating HVAC and mechanical systems on mid- to large-scale commercial or interior projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Advanced spoken English proficiency for leading and participating in technical meetings. Experience working with international teams and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
