  • Comfortable navigating QuickBooks without hesitation.
  • Strong written English to explain variances and ask follow-up questions.
  • Organized and able to keep recurring monthly tasks on schedule.
You will own the general ledger and post every daily transaction to the right account. You will reconcile bank, credit card, and balance-sheet accounts on a set weekly and monthly cadence. You will chase down missing receipts, fix coding errors, and keep vendor files and audit trails in perfect order. You will prepare clean close packets and ad-hoc reports so leadership can ask questions and get answers the same day. You will flag patterns, duplicates, or unusual items before they snowball into bigger issues. Puente Talent Partners connects top Latin American professionals with growing US companies. This role is for one of our US clients, and you would be joining their team directly while being supported by Puente through the hiring process. Our client is a US-based company that needs rock-solid books to run daily operations and make fast decisions. They count on clean reconciliations and up-to-date ledgers to keep cash flow visible and investors calm. You will be the only bookkeeper on the team, partnering directly with the owner and an external accountant. The culture prizes accuracy, quiet consistency, and early problem spotting over flashy dashboards. Multi-entity bookkeeping exposure and familiarity with e-commerce or service business flows. Hands-on use of Bill.com, Gusto, or similar finance apps.
