Job Title: Automotive Service Technician / Motor Mechanic SOC Code: 5215 Employer: Motor Factors Description: Diagnose, service, repair and maintain cars and light commercial vehicles. Carry out mechanical repairs, engine work, brake, suspension and steering systems. Perform full servicing, oil changes, filters and safety inspections. Use diagnostic equipment for electrical and electronic fault finding. Prepare vehicles for NCT testing. Fit parts and components supplied by Motor Factors. Ensure all work meets safety and manufacturer standards. Maintain records and keep workshop clean and organised.
