• Organise and oversee the procurement of parts and accessories, and equipment from manufacturers, importers, and other suppliers to support service and distribution.
• Attend trade fairs, industry events, and supplier meetings to research new product lines, identify potential suppliers, and evaluate emerging trends.
• Stay informed on market trends and consumer preferences, using research, conferences, and other sources to guide purchasing decisions.
• Assess budget constraints and product requirements to determine appropriate sourcing strategies, including quantity, type, and quality and packaging materials.
• Evaluate supplier bids, identify new sourcing opportunities, and negotiate competitive pricing to optimise procurement efficiency.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers, ensuring all agreements align with business objectives and sustainability values.
• Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain operations and procurement processes, presenting innovative solutions to senior management.
• Ensure timely delivery and compliance of procured items with orders, monitor the quality of incoming goods, manage returns of defective products, and track supplierperformance.
• Oversee administrative processes related to procurement and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and operations, to align procurement strategies with business goals and sustainability initiatives.
