Join Workday, a leading enterprise management cloud company, as a Medium Enterprise Account Executive. In this role, you will be a key player in our Field Sales organization, focusing on net new revenue and guiding new customers on their journey to leave legacy platforms behind. You will develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in your assigned territory, and maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect data. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based solutions to C-level executives and a proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle.

About the role

- Basic Qualifications (P4) - 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position - 4+ years experience in engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory - 4+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities - Basic Qualifications (P3) - 3+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels in a field sales position OR 18+ months of experience as a Workday Sales Development Representative with a documented track record of exceeding quotas and successful participation in the late-stage sales cycle (e.g., discovery calls, demos, or shadow programs) - 3+ experience in engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory - 2+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities OR equivalent internal Workday program completion - Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities - Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies - Understanding of the the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key missions

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects, effectively communicating Workday's value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data, ensuring alignment with company goals.
