About the role

- If you enjoy variety, working across disciplines, and seeing the tangible impact of your work, this role is built for you - We’re less interested in a single career path and more interested in people who bring breadth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach - Leading or overseeing projects and new initiatives - You will likely have experience in: - Research funding organisations / medical research charities / academic setting in a funding role (not fundraising) - Partnership or collaboration-led roles; you’re confident engaging and communicating with external parties - Running committees and boards - Experience managing or contributing to partnerships or complex programmes - Confidence in building relationships and influencing stakeholders - A proactive, solutions-focused mindset - Clear, compelling communication, written and verbal - A proven ability to work across teams and disciplines - Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities - Experience working with biomedical research charities - Understanding of population health research, cohort studies, or health data infrastructure

Key missions

  • Deepen and evolve relationships with major charity partners, designing and delivering innovative partnership models.
  • Identify new opportunities that accelerate research impact, from early conversations through to negotiated agreements.
  • Lead and support partner initiatives, ensuring they deliver real value and impact, while developing governance approaches that keep partnerships effective.
