About the role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience - 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including both public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred - Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience managing a variety of general ledger areas - Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud strongly preferred, including system design or implementation involvement - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive deadlines in a high-growth environment - Experience supporting audits and coordinating PBC requests - Experience overseeing the accounting for manufacturing operations and cost accounting, including labor and materials tracking, inventory capitalization, and BOM accounting - Familiarity with the transportation, automotive, robotics, or hardware sectors - Experience using FloQast, Blackline, or similar accounting close softwareKey missions
- Partner in leading and managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
- Oversee and enhance balance sheet reconciliations using FloQast or similar tools, ensuring assigned accounts are fully reconciled, supported, and documented.
- Manage and mentor a growing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
