A strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Proven ability to collaborate, negotiate, facilitate, and resolve conflicts - Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately with minimal supervision - Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development - A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity - Knowledge of unionized environment, investigations, grievance and will be considered an asset - Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills - Demonstrated ability to take clear, concise, and impartial meeting minutes in sensitive or confidential environments - Strong attention to details with ability to capture key discussion points, decisions and follow up actions - Identify and escalate complex, high-risk, or sensitive matters to Sr. HRBP in a timely manner - Strong data management skills with proficiency in Excel - Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization - Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy, tact, and high ethical standards - University Degree or completion of a Human Resources Management degree/diploma program from a recognized post-secondary institution - French oral and written skills will be considered a strong asset as the role interacts across Canada - 1-2 years of proven experience as a generalist in HRKey missions
