Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Linphone and SIP SDK Developer with a strong background in designing and implementing user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SIP-based solutions, integrating Linphone into applications, and developing intuitive and efficient UIs for communication apps. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional communication solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Linphone Integration: o Integrate and configure the Linphone SDK into mobile and desktop applications (Android, iOS, Windows, macOS). o Customize and extend Linphone functionality to meet project-specific requirements. o Ensure smooth audio, video, and messaging services within applications. • SIP Protocol Expertise: o Develop and maintain SIP-based communication systems and services. o Work on SIP signaling, registration, call setup, call management, and call teardown. o Ensure robust and reliable SIP communication with a focus on scalability and performance. • UI/UX Development: o Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces for communication applications (voice, video, chat). o Work with product and design teams to ensure the UI is intuitive, user-friendly, and responsive across different devices. o Focus on optimizing UI performance for real-time communication. • SDK Development: o Create and manage custom SDKs for communication services, integrating features like voice/video calls, messaging, and presence. o Provide support for third-party integration and customizations. o Document and support the SDK to ensure ease of use and maintenance. • Troubleshooting & Optimization: o Identify and resolve issues related to VoIP communication, performance bottlenecks, and UI performance. o Continuously monitor and improve the quality and reliability of the system. • Collaboration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality communication solutions. o Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience with the Linphone SDK, SIP protocols, and real-time communication. • Strong understanding of VoIP technologies and SIP signaling. • Solid experience in mobile (Android/iOS) and/or desktop (Windows/macOS) application development. • Expertise in developing user interfaces with frameworks like Android Studio (Java/Kotlin), Xcode (Swift/Objective-C), or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter). • Experience with media frameworks (e.g., WebRTC, OpenSSL, GStreamer). • Knowledge of networking principles, STUN/TURN servers, NAT traversal, and firewalls. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues in SIP-based communications. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
