Position: Food Services Manager Wages: CAD$28.00-37.00/hour (depending on experience) Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays) Working hours: 30-40 hours/week Benefits: 4% of vacation pay Job Duties: • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations • Plan and control budget and inventory • Determine type of foods to be offered and implement operational procedures • Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies • Review and adjust staff schedule when necessary • Recruit and oversee staff training and conduct performance reviews • Resolve customer complaints and ensure provincial regulations are followed • Manage catering, events, advertisements Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school; • Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience required. • Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
