Adjunct Faculty members play an important role in preparing and inspiring students through engaging instruction, mentorship, and real-world perspectives that support academic and career growth. Duties and Responsibilities Teach Psychology courses in accordance with Miami Dade College curriculum standards and learning outcomes Prepare and deliver engaging instructional materials, lectures, discussions, and classroom activities Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, projects, and participation Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, and academic records Provide academic support, guidance, and timely communication to students Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to support classroom instruction Adhere to College policies, procedures, and academic standards Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as appropriate Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in Counseling and/or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Counseling and/or Psychology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population Applications must be submitted online by visiting mdc.edu/jobs Job Opening ID: 1009259
