Job Responsibilities:
1. phone calls/checking email for inspection requests.
a) What type of inspections are needed, and what part of the building needs inspections? Rebars, concrete, soil inspections, support of excavation, shoring piles?, structural piles? Lagging? Rakers, walers, heel blocks, steel welding inspections, and mechanical inspections? Firestopping inspections?
b) Confirm with the inspector’s qualification and availability
c) Confirm with the client about their inspection schedule request.
2. Maintain excel sheet for the inspections dispatch log.
3. Tracking and requesting design drawings and shop drawings and submittals, and maintain a construction documents log.
4. Tracking inspection reports and photos within 1 week of the inspection being done, and issuing them to the client. Keep it as part of the inspection log.
5. NCR log, ask the inspector to maintain for each job.
Non-compliance report, follow up with the client about resolving the NCRs.
6. Communicate with client, request approved construction documents, including but not limited to signed and sealed design drawings, project specifications
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field)
• 3 years of experience, preferably in related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software required
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with clients and inspectors
