Join us as an HR Product Manager (AI & Automation) to define how AI transforms people operations at Qonto. You'll map where AI creates the most value across a 75-person People team, build the backlog, and ship the tools yourself — from smart automations to full AI-native products. You will report to Mélodie Moulin, our Head of People Systems.
➡️ What you'll do
- Map the people stack end-to-end: Uncover the workflows and pain points across recruiting, onboarding, performance, compensation, and HR operations that cost the team the most time.
- Own the backlog: Build and maintain a prioritised list of AI/automation opportunities, ranked by impact and feasibility.
- Turn feedback into shippable problems: Collect input from HRBPs, recruiters, managers, and Qontoers through discovery practices (UX research, POCs, tests) and translate insights into clear problem statements.
- Ship products end-to-end: Define the best technical solutions, then build them yourself — applications, prompts, evals, integrations, and automations. Not just spec them.
- Measure what you ship: Define success metrics upfront and track them rigorously after launch.
➡️ What we're looking for
- HR fluency: 3-5 years in HR (HRBP, HR Ops, RecOps, or HR PM), ideally in a tech scale-up. You know the processes well enough to spot what's broken.
- AI-native builder: You use AI tools daily and know how to go from prompt to production — not just ideation. You've shipped something real with AI, not just experimented.
- Product owner mindset: You write functional specs, own testing, and ship without needing a dedicated PM or designer. You're comfortable being the person who decides what gets built next.
- Systems thinker: You break down complex, cross-functional problems and connect the dots across product, design, and ops.
- Self-starter: You build your own roadmap and move fast without waiting for permission. You've done it before in environments where the playbook didn't exist yet.
➡️ What we can offer you
- A role built from scratch: This position is new. You'll define the roadmap, pick the tools, and set the standards for how AI is used across the entire People team — 75 people, every Qontoer touched.
- Direct leadership visibility: Your work shapes how Qonto applies AI in HR. This isn't buried in a backlog — it's a strategic priority.
- Unlimited AI tooling: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Dust, Notion AI — every tool you need, no approval required.
- Ship and measure, not just plan: You'll iterate fast and track outcomes. If it doesn't move a metric, it doesn't ship.
➡️ Your future manager
Your manager will be Mélodie Moulin, our Head of People Systems.
- Her path? 10+ years in HR and HRIS — from Coca-Cola Enterprises to ConvictionsRH, then Head of HR Digital CoE at Pernod Ricard and Head of People Systems & Performance at Doctolib. She's led large-scale HR transformation programs using data and automation, and joined Qonto in April 2025.
- What does she bring to the team? She believes in empowering her team with real ownership and freedom. You can expect trust and autonomy to innovate, with strategic guidance through complex organisational transformations.
