6 years of hands-on experience as an electrical engineer specifically within the construction or design-build industries.
High-level expertise in Revit is essential, particularly for electrical systems modeling and cross-disciplinary BIM coordination.
A comprehensive grasp of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant local electrical regulations.
The capacity to develop intricate technical drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Prior experience directly employed by or collaborating closely with electrical contractors.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools including AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, BIM 360/ACC, and Procore.g
Direct the electrical engineering lifecycle for diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
Construct and maintain comprehensive Revit models encompassing power systems, lighting, grounding, telecommunications, and fire safety layouts.
Conduct electrical assessments, such as arc, voltage drop, fault current, and load calculations.
Evaluate and apply project specifications, client requirements, and regulatory codes like NFPA and NEC.
Execute internal audits and design checks to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Verify that all Revit outputs conform to both corporate protocols and client-specific requirements.
