The role
You'll work directly alongside the founders and early team to build Light's sales organization.
Your mission is to help Light scale from an early, founder-led sales motion into a world-class revenue organization. You'll recruit and develop exceptional talent, establish the operating rigor and accountability required to scale, and help win some of the company's most important opportunities.
This is a true player-coach role. You'll be responsible for building the team, improving how we go to market, and identify what's working, what's not, and where Light should invest next.
Beyond managing a team, you'll shape how Light grows. You'll work closely with Product, Partner Success, and the founders to uncover opportunities, refine our strategy, and drive repeatable growth.

In your first six months, you will:
Recruit and develop the next generation of sales talent and build Light's sales organization.
Establish the operating rigor, accountability, and discipline needed to scale the sales team.
Personally lead strategic opportunities while coaching the team through complex deals.
Drive sales productivity through better qualification, execution, and continuous refinement.
Work cross-functionally with Product & founders to identify promising growth opportunities.
Transform founder-led sales into a scalable, repeatable GTM engine.

Comfortable balancing execution and exploration to identify where Light should grow next.
Experienced with early-stages and excited to work five days per week in our Austin office.
