Forvis Mazars places audit quality at the core of its work, supported by a global quality management system aligned with ISQM 1. This includes strong risk assessment, independence, robust methodologies, and continuous monitoring. We are looking for an Audit Quality & Risk (Senior) Manager to join our professional practice team. You will work closely with audit teams across industries to maintain high audit quality, manage risks, and ensure consistent application of standards and regulations. This role offers strong visibility, technical exposure, and involvement in strategic quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Quality & Technical Support
Provide guidance on audit methodology and technical matters. Interpret and apply ISAs, IFRS, Lux GAAP, and Luxembourg regulations. Translate regulatory changes into practical guidance. Support innovation and tools to enhance audit quality
Consultations & Engagement Support
Respond to technical queries and formal consultations. Advise audit teams on complex matters.
Quality Reviews & Monitoring
Perform or coordinate internal reviews. Support internal and external quality inspections.
Independence & Risk Management
Run independence controls and identify risk issues. Escalate concerns and support the risk framework.
Remediation & Continuous Improvement
Help fix audit deficiencies and perform root cause analyses. Improve processes, tools, and templates.
Training & Coaching
Deliver training and share technical knowledge. Support development of audit teams' judgment and skills.
