At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

As the Global Alliance Director for GCP, you will own the end-to-end strategic relationship and global go-to-market (GTM) execution for Snowflake’s partnership with Google Cloud Platform. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that acts as the single point of leadership for the GCP ecosystem.

You will be responsible for balancing macro-level corporate strategy - including joint business planning, product integration collaboration, and executive governance, - with ground-level field execution to accelerate co-sell revenue, expand joint pipeline, and scale Snowflake’s impact globally. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategic corporate alliance development, deep technical ecosystem mapping, and high-velocity field execution within a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Alliance Strategy & Executive Governance

  • Joint Business Planning: Work collaboratively with Google Cloud’s corporate alliance leadership to build and execute a comprehensive annual joint business plan establishing shared revenue targets, investment strategies, and key milestones.

  • Executive Presence: Prepare for and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic touchpoints with Snowflake and Google Cloud senior executives (including the Chief Revenue Officer).

  • Ecosystem Advocacy: Act as the primary global evangelist for the partnership, fostering relationships across relevant business lines at Google HQ to position Snowflake as their preferred data and AI platform partner.

2. GTM Strategy & Revenue Acceleration

  • Pipeline Velocity: Own and evolve the global GCP–Snowflake GTM strategy, focusing on pipeline creation, co-sell velocity, and global market expansion.

  • Industry Solution Alignment: Align Snowflake’s solution plays with Google Cloud’s specific industry priorities (e.g., Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare), ensuring coordinated messaging, joint marketing engines, and field-ready content.

  • Regional Scaling: Monitor and measure the efficacy of field alliance programs globally, identifying demand gaps in specific regions (AMER, EMEA, APJ) and mobilizing local GCP leadership to react.

3. Field Execution & Marketplace Mechanics

  • Co-Sell Motion Leadership: Serve as the strategic point leader for field-level engagement, building scalable enablement motions (seller playbooks, guides, and joint value proposition messaging) to empower Snowflake and GCP field teams to collaborate seamlessly.

  • Marketplace Optimization: Drive the technical and operational optimization of Google Cloud tools (Google Cloud Marketplace, Partner Advantage portal) to accelerate deal registration, incentive program utilization, and cloud commitment drawdowns.

  • Field Escalations: Act as the global escalation point for account-level co-sell blockers, marketplace transaction hurdles, and competitive friction in the field.

4. Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Technical Solution Integration: Partner with Snowflake’s Product Management, Partner Sales Engineering, and Solutions Engineering teams to coordinate the launch and field enablement of joint technical integrations.

  • Matrixed Orchestration: Collaborate across large cross-functional teams—including Partner Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Legal—to support complex cloud consumption models and joint customer success.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 12+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Cloud Provider ISV alliance management (stewarding multi-million or multi-billion dollar co-sell relationships).

  • Google Cloud Ecosystem Expertise: Deep, hands-on mastery of Google Cloud's corporate architecture, regional field structures, Partner Advantage incentive funding programs, and Google Cloud Marketplace mechanics.

  • Dual Credibility: Proven track record of navigating executive-level boardrooms/HQ environments while retaining the "boots on the ground" credibility required to unblock deals at the individual account level.

  • Influence Without Authority: Exceptional ability to forge creative solutions, navigate a matrixed global organization, and drive cross-functional projects across Product, Sales, and Legal teams.

  • Data-Driven Acumen: Highly analytical mindset with the ability to use data platforms to measure program efficacy, track joint pipeline metrics, and build data-backed executive presentations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% as needed to support global partner engagements and field alignment events.
