The Ideal Candidate would have experience of leading a team of up to 25 people in a Manufacturing environment which involves shift co-ordination. Must be able to work day and night shifts when required. Must be based within 50km of Blessington town. Experience of working in the roto moulding or plastics industry would be ideal though not essential as the successful candidate will undergo a full training and familiarisation program. As the company moves onto the next phase of growth, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to use their leadership and organisational skills in helping the Company achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising Production and finishing workers and processes, ensuring adherence to Quality standards, target output and health and safety compliance.
Coordinating daily production schedules based on equipment availability and labour resources.
Inspecting Machinery and equipment regularly to prevent downtime and ensure ongoing operational efficiency and ensure maintenance schedule is enforced for all vehicles and machinery.
Provide training and support to new hires and existing staff fostering a cohesive and skilled team.
Resolving issues and conflicts that may arise on factory floor.
Specific tasks and duties associated with the role include but are not limited to:
Mentoring and coaching all direct reports.
Ensure all calibration, quality, training and production records are maintained.
Adjusting workflow based on production targets and operational challenges.
Enforcing a quality mindset of right first time, carry out hourly checks.
Ensure inventories of all materials and componentry are accurate.
Maintain all HSA records and standards.
