We are seeking an experienced Protection Engineer to design, configure, test, and support protection systems for transmission, distribution, and industrial power networks. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical power systems across large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Develop protection philosophies and protection schemes for electrical power systems Configure and test protection relays and associated control systems Perform fault studies, protection coordination studies, and system analysis Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and energization activities Review technical specifications, drawings, and protection settings Troubleshoot protection and control system issues Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and project teams Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline Experience with protection and control systems for transmission, distribution, or industrial power networks Strong knowledge of power systems and protection principles Experience with ABB, Siemens, GE Multilin, Schneider Electric, or similar relay platforms Experience performing fault analysis and protection coordination studies Familiarity with IEC 61850 and substation automation systems is considered an advantage Strong communication and documentation skills Fluent English
