Due to growth-driven expansion of its Commodities business, Karbone will hire Sales Traders to join the Summer 2025 cohort.
Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure and execute bilateral deals/contracts for various classes of Renewable Energy commodities in North America; your coverage may include RECs, Power & Capacity, or Renewable Fuels, etc.
- Establish, manage, and grow relationship networks with existing and new market participants including developers, asset managers, independent power producers (IPPs), utilities, non-utility load servers, commodity merchants, trading funds, infrastructure investors, and corporate/non-corporate end-users.
- Conduct client meetings and roadshows, participate in industry networking events, with the goal of building a book of business and growing company exposure.
- Maintain knowledge of market developments, regulation/legislation and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability, and/or Finance
- Previous internship experience in renewable energy markets or adjacent field
- Polished business acumen with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in a sales, account management, business development, or other commercially-oriented position highly preferred
The estimated base salary for this position is $65,000-$70,000. Total compensation includes bonus, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plan with company match.
